Blacklist Press Ltd. is an independent publishing company based in Lichfield, United Kingdom. We publish fiction and non-fiction novels, journals, poetry and short story collections spanning a variety of genres and formats.
Our values
We live in challenging and dangerous times. With the rise of cancel culture and media censorship, our freedom to speak and express ourselves is being restricted. Key stories are not being shared. New ideas are not being discussed. The demands of everyday life part aspiring writers from their craft, and without the time to write, too many believe they won’t make it and stop altogether. We must be free to speak out and have our voices heard.
For some, writing is not just a creative pastime but a primary source of income, the loss of which can alienate both authors and readers, precluding important perspectives from being shared with the wider world and impacting economic liberty. Even long-established writers can suddenly find it hard even to get a short story published in a student-orientated anthology series or local magazine.
Getting your work out in the community is a difficult task. Blacklist Press Ltd is here to make it easy for those writers who value high quality independent content to have their work published professionally, gain experience and build their own platforms while generating an income of their own. About us
Christopher J. Wilkinson is our Company Director, overseeing all operations within the organisation from design and production to marketing and distribution. He has been writing poetry and short stories since 2013. Christopher’s career has been dedicated to sales and marketing for some of the UK’s biggest companies. He is Master’s degree educated and holds a certificate in Business & Administration.
